Doing my part

I recall the moment as if it happened yesterday.

It was a particularly busy day, and I was just about to head out for a second cup of coffee. However, upon returning to my desk, I heard a familiar notification sound that immediately caught my attention.

It was a Slack message that demanded my immediate attention. Setting my coffee aside, I eagerly opened the message and discovered an urgent request to design assets for Rodrigo's upcoming live show, LEAD.

The sense of importance and urgency in the message prompted me to shift my focus entirely, ready to dedicate my time and skills to ensure the success of the event.

Upon receiving the urgent request, I collaborated with Nancy Ngo, the Communication Lead to the General Manager of GTS (Rodrigo), to address the design needs for the upcoming LEAD event. Nancy had reached out to me via Slack, emphasizing the importance of the design assistance required.

Specifically, there were two primary design needs that had to be fulfilled. The first was creating a graphic or logo to be displayed on the backdrop of the studio screens during the live show.

This visual element would serve as a prominent focal point, reinforcing the branding and capturing the essence of the event. Additionally, an introduction video was needed to set the tone and engage the audience right from the start.

With these requirements in mind, I set out to utilize my design skills and collaborate closely with Nancy to ensure that the final deliverables would align with the vision and objectives of LEAD.

Throughout the process, I also had the opportunity to work closely with Max Ridgeway, a Videographer on my squad within the Innovation team.

Max's main responsibility was to create the actual introduction video for the LEAD show. In a collaborative effort, Nancy, Max, and I worked together to determine the most suitable graphic or logo to be incorporated into the intro video.

Our collective discussions and brainstorming sessions allowed us to consider various options and evaluate which graphic would best complement the overall theme and purpose of the show.

The input and expertise of each team member played a crucial role in making informed decisions and ensuring that the final design and video elements aligned seamlessly with the objectives of LEAD.
