Toolkit: view of the templated not logged in landing page

Here at IBM, it is a normal occurrence to work with an agile mindset.

For example, I’ve grown used to the demands of clients needing a rapid prototype of their apps or websites — having their ideas visually displayed helped with creating security and trust for our clients.

Although, creating rapid prototypes for one client may be an easy task for a designer like myself — it can grow to be difficult if say, 5 or more clients request it, all at once. Knowing this — the development team and myself decided to collaboratively work on a solution.

The team and I thought, why not have a Toolkit where we can store designs and already developed ready-to-use website templates?

This way multiple clients could request a visual prototype — all that would have to be done is to quickly use the templated website pages to present to the client.

If the client liked the visualization of their idea — then they would sign a contract to solidify the deal with IBM and then the development team and myself would work on furthering the templated website pages into custom works and/or individual components(like designing a custom site logo or graphics), should the client request those changes.

The team and I were able to identify a gap in the process of creating rapid prototypes for multiple clients. The toolkit would have streamlined the entire process not only for ourselves but more importantly for all IBM clients.

Although Toolkit was not fully launched — unfortunately, due to budget constraints, it was still regarded as an innovative idea.
